In our tech-heavy modern lifestyles, we can quickly and easily lose connection to our body and breath. This disconnect is the breeding ground for many conditions to include lower back pain, anxiety, depression, and fatigue just to name a few.
Yoga postures (asanas) allow us to connect deeply to our bodies to maintain optimal health. Breathing techniques (pranayama) allow us to create space and ease within the body. Practices for mental focus (dharana) provide us with opportunities to connect to the more subtle aspects of life and to cultivate the ability to focus. When we give ourselves the gift of a retreat, we are able to indulge in these practices for an extended period of time. This is how true transformation can happen!

We stayed in the mountains of San Gerardo at the Rio Chirripo Lodge! It was magical to wake up each morning to the sounds of nature and the views of the cloud forest! Hiking, Surfing, and Zip-lining were some of our retreat highlights!
